Lookingglass’ new adaptation of Jules Verne’s AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS, directed and adapted by Ensemble Member Laura Eason, opens April 27, 2008.

This daring new adaptation will undergo its final transformation in gglassworks, the initiative through with Lookingglass develops stirring new theatrical work. In the process of development and production, Lookingglass will employ an innovative design team, as well as specialists in acrobatics, stage combat, and vocal technique to equip a diverse ensemble of actors to breathe life into Verne’s delightfully eccentric characters.

The resource-intensive process of bringing AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS to life in Lookingglass 20th Anniversary Season requires our Company to turn to our generous friends and supporters for additional support to help make our vision for this production a reality.
