Ensemble Member John Musial receives Jeff Award for Outstanding Achievement in Videography

Company members mentioned in this article: John Musial and Thomas J Cox October 20, 2008 Lookingglass Ensemble Member John Musial was presented on Monday with a Joseph Jefferson Award for Outstanding Achievement in Videography for his work on Nelson Algren: For Keeps and a Single Day, produced in association with the Museum of Contemporary Art. The original films, directed by Musial, were projected during performances from four separate projectors at the MCA Stage in June 2008. Musial also adapted the work of Algren for the stage and directed Ensemble Member Thomas J. Cox in the production. David Pavkovich, who composed the jazz accompianament for Nelson Algren: For Keeps and a Single Day, won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Original Incidental Music, performed by Kevin O'Donnell and Bob Lovecchio. Nilaja Sun won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Solo Performance in Lookingglass' presentation of No Child... produced in the fall of 2007. Lookingglass' 2007-2008 Joseph Jefferson Awards:
