Mr. Rickey Calls A Meeting

Student Matinee Offerings

This season, Lookingglass examines two pivotal moments in American history: the night the Great Chicago Fire jumps the river on its way to razing a city, and the day that racial segregation on the baseball diamond is smashed for good. We’re particularly excited to offer student matinee performances at a deeply discounted of $10 per ticket so that Chicago-area students have the opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre.

In addition to discounted tickets for school groups, we will provide teachers and administrators with a study guide to orient students to the show ahead of the performance. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in a Question-and-Answer session with the cast after the show. We also offer in-school workshops for students (either before or after the matinee field trip), lead by our teaching artists. If you are interested in reserving tickets for a matinee performance, please contact Lizzie Perkins, Director of Education and Community Programs, at 773.477.9257 x104.
