Doug Hara

DOUG HARA began working with Lookingglass Theatre Company in 1991. Since then, he has participated in 16 productions as an actor, musician, composer or assistant director, including The Brothers Karamazov, Metamorphoses, Lookingglass Alice, West, Eurydice, Arabian Nights, Up Against It, Master and Margarita and Lookingglass Hamlet.  Credits outside Lookingglass include Journey to the West and The Odyssey at The Goodman Theatre, A Prayer for Owen Meany and Something Intangible at Arden Theatre; Our Town and A Midsummer Night's Dream at Two River Theater.  Broadway credits: Metamorphoses at Circle in the Square and The Boys of Winter  at The Biltmore.  Off Broadway: The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci, Metamorphoses and Lookingglass Alice.  Doug has worked with many regional theaters throughout the country including About Face Theatre (11 Rooms of Proust), Jellyeye Drum Opera (Blood Lotus), The Huntington Theatre, Berkeley Repertory, Seattle Repertory, The Mark Taper Forum, McCarter Theatre, California Shakespeare Theatre, The Margaret Jenkins Dance Company, BAM, The Joyce Theatre, and Second Stage Theater.  Fil Credits: Since You've Been Gone and Mad Dog and Glory.  Doug lives in Lambertville, NJ with his wife, Kristin and two daughters, Lyra and Harper.
